Scholarships for Post-Matric students
Purpose of the Scheme and scholarship Rates:

Students of nomadic/semi Nomadic groups to continue their studies after matriculation and encouraging them to pursue education at this level eligibility scholarship will be given at rate stated below to the students who are studying course approved by the university at government or government accredited private educational Institution based on the marks they have scored in the previous class annual examination.

Eligible scholarships are being offered at the following rates for college students of nomadic and semi-nomadic classes who are studying in post-matric educational institutions.

1 P.U.C. And Diploma Rs.300/- 10 per month 3000/-
2 Bachelor's and master's degree Rs.400/- 10 per month 4000/-
3 For BE / MBBS, BDS and other technical / professional courses in Government Quota through CET Rs.500/- 10 per month 5000/-
Eligibilty:

1. The student should belong to the backward classes Nomadic/Semi- Nomadic. (should be included in current prevailing backward classes list of Category-1 and recognized as Nomadic and Semi-Tribe groups on the order dated 01-02-1966).

2. Candidate must first pass the previous class annual examination to apply for this project facility.

3. The student must have passed all the subjects of the previous class examination for the renewal of this qualifying scholarship.

4. The annual income of the student/parents / guardian family should be below Rs.2.50 lakhs.

5. The student should not receive any scholarship or free student accommodation from the government / university.

Approval procedure:

1. Applications are invited through online and after the verification, eligible students will be sanctioned.

2. The scholarship amount will be credited to the student's bank account.
